Welcome to the ALL-NEW, hopefully easier to navigate, HIGHLANDER DOUJINSHI LIBRARY (HDL)!! With Solcities finally gone the way of the dinosaur, EVERYTHING (including my Gen Fic) will be housed in 7parabian. I'm really, really sorry about this, Eng! I would've wanted to help you at least with the formatting of the stories' text, but... sigh.

HDL's story bank has two sections -- GENERAL FICTION (stories for all ages) and SLASH FICTION. Having developed a notorious reputation in HL fic circles, in the list below, I've placed warnings on the stories that may or have already been proven to be offensive to some people.

PLEASE HEED THE WARNINGS, ESPECIALLY THOSE WHICH CARRY
THE "CONTROVERSIAL THEMES" LABEL!!

I am sick and tired of flames, and particularly of certain hypocrites who have made it their duty to make assessments of my (and other writers') mental health. I am perfectly sane, I want to make that clear. But I do question the sanity of those people who still persist in reading stories that DO carry warning labels and then get offended by them, to the point that they publicly insult the writer.
©IMPORTANT ADVISORY. Please note that I've taken great pains and expense to have ALL the stories in this site, as well as those posted on my list, COPYRIGHTED. You see, in my country, we have a law that protects derivative works as long as they are for no or very minimal profit. Having had unsavory experiences with plagiarists in the past, I have to protect my work, especially since so many people seem to find my themes so appealing to make them want to do variations themselves. Plus, there has been a similar nasty experience wherein certain writers have asked my permission to do a variation, but actually intended to write a version that is DEROGATORY to the original.

In this regard, I WILL NOT GIVE PERMISSION to do other versions of my stories, INCLUDING the TEDDY BEAR TALES. Eng and I have come to so much grief over these stories that I do not want certain writers abusing our kindness any longer.


In recent months, I've received letters from nice folks asking for updates on my stories, in particular the "Highlander Serials". Although I haven't been updating them in the site, the latest chapters, as well as new stories I've written, HAVE popped up in my mailing list, the HIGHLANDER MAVERICKS (HLM).

Any new stories and serials chapters I've written will be posted FIRST and ONLY on this list. Not only that, I'm proud to say that HLM has become a great venue for newbie writers and artists, as well as other established HL fic writers who have been so cruelly maligned on the main lists, to show what they can do.

If you want to join the HIGHLANDER MAVERICKS, I have a few ground rules. (These will be explained in full in two emails that will be sent to you upon becoming a member.).

1) You must send a birthday/age statement.
2) You must be liberal-minded. We do not accept narrow-minded people or hypocrites on HLM.
3) ABSOLUTELY NO FLAMES ALLOWED.
4) Although HLM advocates creativity and freedom of expression, I seriously draw the line when such freedoms are used to insult/ridicule people on the list, the fic they write, and their mental health.
